My Feet Have Not Stumbled

Psalm 17 5

Hi, folks! Life has been full the last month, so you’ve been seeing some of my favorite quotes, verses and pictures. Things will begin to settle back into a routine again, and I will return with new posts soon! Hope you’re enjoying your summer.

Never Throw Anyone Out

For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.

For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.

For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.

For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone.

People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed and redeemed.

Never throw anyone out.

Greater than the Sands on the Beach

This past week I’ve been blessed with being able to attend Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. After the conference, I had the good fortune to be able to make a quick trip to the Atlantic Ocean. I learned a lot about writing, myself and God during the last week. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a post done for today. In the place of my own words,  I give you these words of assurance from God.

How precious to me are Your thoughts, God!
How vast is the sum of them!
Were I to count them,
They would outnumber the grains of sand–
When I awake I’m still with you.                                                                                                                                                   Psalm 139:17-18

The Beauty of a Woman

010

The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It’s the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows, & the beauty of a woman only grows with passing years.                                                                                                                                                        ~Audrey Hepburn

Living Today

Walking in a Meadow

Single life may be only a stage of a life’s journey, but even a stage is a gift. God may replace it with another gift, but the receiver accepts His gifts with thanksgiving. This gift for this day. The life of faith is lived one day at a time, and it has to be lived—not always looked forward to as though the ‘real’ living were around the next corner. It is today for which we are responsible. God still owns tomorrow.

A Happy Prayer for Today

May you rise up today with a JOYFUL heart
because God is moving on your behalf,
even when you can’t see what He’s up to.

May you walk forward in faith knowing
that He’s got your back and He goes before you.

May you refuse to focus on your doubts and
points of discouragement because you are
blessed beyond measure and
called beyond your wildest dreams.

Amen!
